Pull up a chair, the table’s set for you

The Secret Supper Society started as a home restaurant, cooking for thousands of guests in my Oxfordshire home. Now it’s an online Society — for anyone who thinks about their next meal the way other people think about their next holiday.

A Society where members inspire each other.

Here, you’ll find a community of people who love life. Share what you’re cooking, swap menus, ask for advice, recommend restaurants, share holiday tips and so much more. You’ll inspire and be inspired, in a Society built around you.

“Come for the recipes. Stay for the chat, the community, and the odd kitchen disaster we’ll laugh about together.”

Beyond The Table

My travel adventures, lifestyle musings, the odd rant, and stories from life beyond the kitchen — just me, no filter.

More than just what’s cooking

Life doesn’t happen entirely in the kitchen — and neither does the Society.

Beyond the recipes, we’ve set a place for you at our community table too, where the conversation wanders wherever it likes. Swap notes on your latest style find, share what’s caught your eye this season, or simply chat about the everyday bits of life that make it interesting. Think of it as the natter that happens after supper, once the plates are cleared — good company, good conversation, and always room for one more voice.

Table Talk: where the conversation happens

A running chat you can dip in and out of, whenever suits you.

Write a post on your own profile, in a group, or out to the whole Society. Comments are nested, so a reply stays with the thing it’s replying to and you’ll never lose the thread of a good debate.

Want to know what everyone thinks? Pop in a poll and let the votes roll in. Share photos as easily as you’d share a few words. If something doesn’t feel right, use the report button and I’ll take a look, and I’ll pin anything you shouldn’t miss to the top.

It was always called a Society. It just took seventeen years to become one.

The Secret Supper Society started as a restaurant in Jules’s dining room. Twenty-four people, six courses, a waiting list. Intimate and personal — but it was Jules cooking for an audience, not a society. The name was ahead of the reality.

Then came Instagram. Recipes and personality, 114,000+ followers in under a year. Proof that the appetite for what Jules does goes far beyond one dining room. But it was still a broadcast — Jules gives, the audience watches.

The Secret Supper Society is what happens when you bring the experience, the personality, the knowledge, and the fun together in one place — and share it among people who want to be part of a movement. Not a restaurant. Not a broadcast. A community.
